My Mission & Focus
My goal is to support you with identifying and owning the unique parts of yourself and to learn how to release defining yourself by your faults or differences.
We live in a world of, "shoulds."
I "should" do this, be that, dress like this, behave like that, feel like this...
Together, we’ll uncover these limiting beliefs and external expectations that no longer serve you.
Through our work, you’ll begin to feel safer, more grounded, and more connected within your body.
My approach centers on helping you create a life that honors your unique nervous system and lived experiences. We are working to release the narrative that asks you to shrink, mask, or change.
In this space, you’ll gain clarity around your needs, values, and boundaries, so you can move forward with confidence and authenticity on your own path.

Throughout my career, I’ve remained committed to integrating evidence-based practices with holistic, mind-body approaches to support healing and growth. My work is rooted in the belief that when we work with our unique nervous system to understand the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences. When this happens we begin to live with more ease, alignment, and self-trust.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Vermont in 2013, followed by my Master of Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University in 2018. In the years between, I taught English in Thailand, worked in the service industry as a server and bartender, and traveled the world. These experiences deepened my understanding of human connection and cultural diversity.
Over the past decade plus, I’ve supported individuals across the lifespan and spectrum of abilities & independence. I worked in Intensive Outpatient Programs, worked with youth and families in the juvenile justice system, served as a medical social worker during the COVID-19 pandemic, and as a school social worker and transition specialist within special education programs; helping individuals with disabilities navigate life transitions and build independence.
Holistic care and looking at all aspects of the human experience is integral to the work that I do.
I am a 200-hour certified Yoga Teacher and am a certified as a Usui Holy Fire Reiki practitioner (levels 1 & 2). Additionally, I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in training and offer somatic supports to all clients interested. Integrating these additional supports further grounds and informs my practice holistically to truly take in each of my client's unique systems & lives.
An important fact about me is that am also a late in life ADHDer. I was diagnosed with ADHD, combined type when I was 33 years old. I work to incorporate my lived and clinical experience to support you wherever you may be.
I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and safe.
I honor each person’s unique nervous system and lived experience by moving at their own pace.
The goal is never to “fix” but to guide you with learning how to live a more embodied life, remembering you are whole and have inherent work just as you are.
As we walk this path together, I hope to be a regulating, compassionate presence.
Thank you for considering me as a partner in your healing.
Warmly,
Maura
