Meet Your Therapist

I'm Maura, the owner and lead clinician at Mindful Pathways Counseling. I believe in a holistic and integrative approach to healing.

I work with young adults and adults navigating ADHD, Autism, Emetophobia, and trauma. I guide them with building confidence, develop self-compassion, and gain practical tools for daily life.

My primary goal is to create an inclusive space where individuals of all abilities, identities, and experiences feel seen and supported.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, struggling with focus, coping with anxiety or past trauma, or facing specific challenges related to Emetophobia, life on the autism spectrum or with ADHD, I’m here as a compassionate partner as you grow toward clarity, balance, and self-understanding.

MPC Approach

My approaches include Somatic practices, like Somatic Experiencing, Yoga Informed Therapy, & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I guide my clients through mindfulness and grounding techniques tailored to their specific needs.

I believe that every person, (yes you!) has unique strengths that can be harnessed to support the change that they are looking for (yes, again, you!)

I am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment, encouraging clients to delve into their thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations with comfort and trust. My ultimate aim is to cultivate a trusting relationship where clients can empower themselves with the skills and tools essential for thriving in their day to day life.

Testimonials

"To know Maura is to know authenticity, kindness, and to be treated with unconditional positive regard. I was fortunate to have met and worked alongside Maura during our time doing medical social work together. I was always impressed by her work ethic, energy, optimism, and commitment to improving the lives of the clients and families that she worked with. Maura’s ability to engage, establish, and maintain therapeutic rapport with clients is one of her many natural strengths. Maura is well-versed in clinical therapeutic modalities, and she continually seeks professional trainings to add to her clinical repertoire and skillset. If you’re looking for a therapist who will be your biggest advocate and join alongside you in your journey to wellness, you have come to the right practice."
